‘Nocturne’ is a double sided record featuring song selections of “Rain Sounds” and Scriabin’s “Nocturne for the Left Hand Alone” from the Smithsonian’s Folkways recording catalog. The album packaging is inspired by the song choices and serve as a visual interpretation of the music it holds. All imagery was hand-made using the Japanese water marbling technique, suminagashi.
